DEPARTMENT SUMMARY

The SEO team at BOLD is responsible for driving organic traffic to our domains. In this role, you'll be working closely with the rest of the team and other departments to implement SEO best practices.

POSITION SUMMARY

The candidate should have a strong understanding of Web 2.0 properties and best practices for major search engines. You will be helping create KPIs and working with the product, engineering, and the rest of the SEO team to ensure best practices. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead our expanding SEO team
Manage our core web properties in regards to SEO
Work closely with global engineering and product teams to ensure consistency in SEO strategy and implementation across multiple global properties
Driving commercial success in our target market segments
Developing and continually reassessing a set of strategies to drive growth across key segments
Work with Engineering Team in India & Puerto Rico to implement complicated SEO Strategies
Directly interface with Head of Acquisitions to lay out projects and roadmaps, specifically in emerging markets
Creation of meaningful KPIs and reports to be delivered daily, weekly and monthly to internal team and executives
Manage link building opportunities for new properties and leverage existing properties for SEO


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Previous experience managing an SEO team
5-6+ years of relevant direct response SEO experience with an international brand with proven growth strategies
Strong working knowledge of programming languages and web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, AJAX, RSS and others
Experience creating new SEO properties for international markets with a focus on traffic acquisitions
Experience in building links and acquiring domains globally
Solid analytical skills with key performance metrics is a must, with an understanding of Google Analytics, Google/Bing Webmaster Tools
Ability to perform competitive analysis for different markets globally
Strong proponent of best practices, semantics, and optimization/performance for the web; thorough knowledge of search ranking factors and updates to ranking algorithms


DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Familiarity with structured data e.g. Schema.org’s microformat, Open Graph, and microdata schemas a strong plus
Candidate should be easy to work with self-starter who is equally comfortable collaborating in a team environment
Previous work experience in the Career and Job Space

POSITION SUMMARY: The SEO Associate is an entry-level position for a motivated and very detail-oriented person. We are looking for someone who knows how to efficiently manage his or her time and can work well within a team environment.

REQUIRED RESPONSIBILITIES:

Execute search engine optimization tactics, including ongoing evaluation of keywords, content and metadata, campaign performance tracking, and link building
Create a content strategy for newly acquired property in conjunction with Content Manager and Marketing partners
Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion, and optimization
Conversion-focused analysis and planning of site strategy
Follow compliance guidelines specific to vertical market(s), and avoid black hat techniques that would adversely impact customer websites
Continually evaluate and improve the effectiveness of campaigns through keyword ranking, geo-targeting, conversion rates, search engine referrals, site traffic and backlinks
Present substantiated recommendations for changes that have a direct bearing on results.
Perform best practices for departmental procedures that facilitate workflow, intra- and inter-departmental communication, tracking and reporting of KPIs
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Marketing, Internet Marketing, Website Development, Digital Media, Statistics)
1-2 years’ experience in an SEO role
Good knowledge of web-based applications and common Internet protocols and conventions (web browsers, email, HTTP, FTP)
Intermediate knowledge of web display languages (i.e., HTML, CSS), Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Word, Excel) and statistical analysis
Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate articulately both verbally and in writing
Prioritize needs of self, others and organization, contribute to an enjoyable and supportive work atmosphere
Able to work well in a fast paced environment – the SEO world is rarely static and the industry is very competitive
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience with pay per click advertising strategies
Familiarity with Analytics programs
Foreign Latin language such as French, Italian, Spanish
Knowledge of web development techniques and technologies as well as databases (e.g., XML, JavaScript, Velocity, MySQL)
Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel
